This space is named ‘Call Me Mauri’ because that’s what I end up saying every time I introduce myself, in Japanese and English. My kendo instructor first started using it when I was in high school and I’ve adopted it unofficially since. ‘Maureen’ can be a bit of a mouthful in Japanese.

Topics will include knitting, cats, knitting, books, knitting, applying to medical school, and knitting.
